Ich möchte, dass meine Kitten glücklich und gesund werden und dass sie in ihrer neuen Familie mindestens so geliebt werden, wie ich sie liebe

Sie wurden meine kleine Familie und ich werde sie für immer in meinem Herzen tragen. Ich habe gesehen, wie sie gewachsen sind und ihre kleine Welt entdeckt haben. Ich war dabei, als sie ihre Augen öffneten oder als sie ihre ersten Schritte im Nest machten. Ich war bei ihnen, als sie zum ersten Mal die Katzentoilette ausprobierten (und das Streu schmeckten, anstatt hineinzupinkeln) und als sie zum ersten Mal Kätzchenpastete bekamen (und hineintraten, anstatt sie zu schmecken). Ich war die erste Person, zu der sie geschnurrt haben.

Es fällt mir leichter, mich von ihnen zu verabschieden, wenn ich weiß, dass sie in das richtige Zuhause kommen. Daher wähle ich sehr sorgfältig aus, wer sich für den Rest ihres Lebens um sie kümmern wird. Ich möchte, dass sie ein glückliches und sicheres Leben führen und Zugang zu angemessener medizinischer Versorgung und gutem Futter haben. Aus diesem Grund möchte ich Sie gerne kennen lernen, bevor ich ihr Leben in Ihre Hände lege.

Gesundheitsgarantie

Kittens go to their forever homes fully dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and, of course, healthy in every way. They receive two rounds of core vaccinations: Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV) / Feline Distemper, Feline Calicivirus (FCV), and Feline Herpesvirus-1 (FHV-1) / Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis. A few days before departure, the vet performs a thorough health check, examining the entire body (heart, lungs, bones, eyes, etc.) and issues a health certificate. Additionally, the kittens receive routine deworming, and I send a collected group stool sample to the lab for analysis.

All of my adult cats are tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) & Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), and we conduct HCM and PKD ultrasound examinations yearly.

Furthermore, I offer a health warranty for hidden defects.

Stammbaum

The pedigree, issued by DEKZV—the oldest pedigree cat association in Germany and a member of the international federation FIFe—certifies that the kitten and its ancestors are purebred Birman cats.

Vertrag

Kätzchen werden mit einem detaillierten Kaufvertrag als Liebhabertier abgegeben, der die Garantiebedingungen und eine Kastrationspflicht Ihrerseits enthält

Sozialisierung

Die Kätzchen verlassen die Cattery frühestens im Alter von 14 Wochen. In diesem Alter benutzen sie bereits die Katzentoilette und den Kratzbaum und haben von der Mutter und den Geschwistern viele wichtige Entwicklungs- und Sozialkompetenzen gelernt. Sie sind an Haushaltsgeräusche gewöhnt und werden mit Erwachsenen und Kindern sozialisiert.

Reisepass (falls erforderlich)

If the kittens are moving abroad, they will need a passport and rabies vaccination. I will take care of this and assist you in checking the import requirements for your country. The rabies vaccination cannot be administered before 12 weeks of age, so these kittens will leave at 15 to 16 weeks old, once the vaccination has taken full effect.

Starterpaket

The kittens will leave with a carefully prepared starter packet, including toys, food, and a pillow that carries the scent of their mother and siblings, ensuring a smooth transition into their new home.

After you pick up your kitten, I will continue to be there for you. I’m happy to provide guidance on anything that can help you and your kitten build a happy life together—whether it’s introducing your kitten to other pets, switching to a new cat food, or understanding unusual behaviors. Just reach out to me! I’m always glad to share my experience and knowledge, and if I don’t have the answer, I may know someone who does.

Kastration

Neutering the kittens before they turn 10 months old is a contractual obligation and is also in the best interest of both you and your cat. Unspayed females can experience unnecessary heat cycles, increasing the risk of life-threatening womb infections, while unneutered males may become grumpy and start marking their territory with strong-smelling urine.

The reproduction of kittens sold as pets is strictly prohibited in any form.

Katzengefährte

As Birmans are very social cats, I do not give my kittens to a solo-cat household. Birmans need the company of other cats that cannot be substituted by dogs or humans. If you are planning to have more cats but there is a time gap between the arrival of the 2 kittens, don’t worry, we’ll figure out the best way to go. I am also happy to share my experience and knowledge on how to introduce a kitten to your older cats.

Qualität Leben

Ich wünsche den Kätzchen ein langes und gesundes Leben. Mit qualitativ hochwertigem Futter und einer angemessenen Gesundheitsversorgung können Sie sicherstellen, dass Ihr Kätzchen mehrere Jahre lang gesund bleibt. Es wird empfohlen, regelmäßige Auffrischungsimpfungen durchzuführen und getreidefreies, hochwertiges Katzenfutter anzubieten. Ich gebe Ihnen gerne Informationen über gesundes Futter, wenn Sie Rat brauchen.

Sicherheit

Birmans are particularly trusting cats and tend to be friendly with strangers. Since most of their ancestors lived exclusively indoors, they are no longer suited for outdoor life. They can easily be stolen or fall prey to predators, which is why free roaming is not allowed. A cat-safe balcony or garden, or leash training, are the best alternatives to ensure their safety while allowing them to enjoy the outdoors.
